Default 98 Dakota tranny problems

Ok so let me start by saying I've been using this forum to answer many of my concerns but I have accumulated so many that I thought I'd join up and throw some more out there.
I have a 98 Dakota SLT 3.9L 2WD with auto trans. I bought it off a guy for dirt cheap because he said "it dies when you put it in gear" NO CEL so I did some quick Googling and discovered it could just be a solenoid so I bought it.
Now before you all start bashing me for "parts slapping" I am a parts guy going on 26 years so I can get parts no problem, so I starting with replacing the TPS and the other sensor on the side of the TB (can't think of the name offhand) and that helped the dying part. Then it would stick in 2nd and 3rd and just revved up to 6/7K rpms. So I flushed fluid and change filter. Helps but still did it some so I replace the speed sensor, TCC solenoid and harness and the other 2 solenoids while I was in there. Take it for a spin and it does great, even drove it to work 2 days in a row (30 miles round trip) get home the second night, still driving fine mind you, and the CEL comes on with a P0783 code which I had just replaced. WTF?? Do I go back into the valve body or could it just be the PCM adjusting to the new solenoids? Keep in mind it still shifts good.
