bed liner??
i second the line-x. ive had rhino linings on a previous truck and ive seen line-x on some others. although the rhino performed as advertised the line-x looked much nicer. the rhino liner is low-pressure something something and its finish looks chunky. if appearance is not a concern either are good. the rhino is softer and more rubbery and the line-x is very hard. good luck.
I had an old jeep tj and the whole thing was painted with rhino liner inside and out. I loved that thing. and no matter what I hit with it I couldnt chip the paint or scratch it. if only it didn't look so chunky I would paint my dakota with it.

i was going to get a spray liner but because i also wanted a camper shell over the bed i settled for a bedrug. it cost just the same as a speedliner install ($390 back in 2004). really pimps out the bed if you keep it covered. soft enough to sit on yet quite durable and easily cleaned.

could always save money and get a brush-on liner and do it urself.
AutoZone sells Herculiner for about 90 bucks.

this is what i did works great however if you are gna beat the hell out of your bed the line x is superior...normal use do it yourself is more than adequate

I think I need a regular bed liner though. Every truck shop that I've called in my area sells rhino.
I got a Line-X liner in '03 right after I got my truck. That liner has withstood mid-west weather and less the dirt, looks as good as the day I got it. After I first got it, I thought over the long haul, oxidation would discolor it (it's basic black) but that has proved to be a non-issue.
For my money, I would get a Line-X again in a heartbeat.
