So what did you pay for you Dakota?
I just got my 3rd dakota. It's a 97, 2wd, cc, 5.2, 5sp. with 240k miles. It's still on the original engine/trans/rearend. And is in suprisingly great shape. I had to do a minor tune up because it was only running on 5 cylinders, and naturaly it needed ball joints (the uppers were still originals) the interior is in great shape ( the headliner is starting to fall at the windshield) and the body has verry few and very slight wear and tare with just a couple dings in it. I paid $200.00 yes hundred.
Just bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota SLT. It's an extended cab, automatic, 3.9L V6. Previously owned by a guy in his late 60s....he took very good care of it and hardly drove it! Only 57,000 miles on it when I test drove it at the dealership. 4x4...and perfect timing for it since we just got blasted with 8 inches of snow this past Saturday. Came with a rubber bed liner and tailgate liner. Came with a fiberglass bed cap, aluminum running boards, power locks, power windows, Infinity speakers, tow package.
The dealership was asking $8,395 for it. I traded in a Saturn L200 and they gave me $2,500 for it, so the truck price came down to $5,895. After adding in sales tax, plate transfer, and other fees, and subtracting a $500 deposit I put down, I ended up financing $5,919.76 with my bank.
Felt like a killer deal to me that I couldn't pass up.

I guess I never posted mine on here.
Bought my 2002 sport with 97k miles on it for $6995. Out the door.
4x4
4.7L
CC
5 Speed

Cruise
Everything I wanted and was in MINT condition when I got it. I mean it was immaculate. I put a ding in the drivers side rocker from on a trail a branch kicked up and hit. And someone put a door ding in the drivers side. Pretty small though. Other than that its still in great condition. Just needs my new exhaust put on it.

Got mine the first of the year, its a 92 2wd Dakota Sport. Its blue with a 318 and an automatic. Grey interior with buckets. 118780 miles is on it, and it came with exhaust, headers, tinted windows, centerline wheels, and a MSD 6 BTM box. It set me back $1,600.
