1988 Dodge Dakota long bed (8ft.)
$800 bucks.
Poor thing was a fixer upper. Estimated mileage was 6MPG. A tune up, a new Catalytic Converter, a new Flowmaster 40 Muffler, a throttle body cleaning and belt replacement later.. Beauty runs like brand new. Estimated 20-22 MPG (365 with a 15 gallon tank *can hold 17 for fumes and whatnot).

Bought my 04 Dakota CC 4wd 4.7 auto in December 2010 and it had just shy of 100k on it for $8450. Was a one owner truck. Had Flowmaster duals on it and 265s. Now has 285s on it and leveled. Im liking the power(always drove 4cyl 4wd prior) and the fuel mileage is ok around 13-14.
$24500 exactly OTD

Bought a non-running 2002 Dakota Quad Cab with 141k miles, full time 4X4 with 4.7L V8, leather, basic power equipment, and auto transmission from insurance auction for $1550 + 250 auction fees. Had no keys so got a key made, replaced a starter circuit fuse and reconnected a disconnected wire from ignition switch and now runs like a top. Has no radio and needs a new front drive shaft. Replaced broken driver's bucket and passenger bucket with complete bench seat. Wanted a cheap truck to start with as I'm going to sink around $8k into high performance diesel swap, aluminum dump bed, performance audio system, off road capabilities, etc.
