So I bought my Dart 2 months ago, and after roughly 11k miles, it started to stall out . It mainly does it when stopping or turning, then it is a pain to get to restart.. If you let it sit bout 30 min it will start up. It started it few days ago, and did it 2 times and then was good for bout 6 hrs then did it again. Since then it is more frequent.. Anyone have a direction to go with it

 

Problem solved.. The 2.4 has a oil consumption issue and when the oil level drops to low, it causes the motor to stall out..

 

makes sense...the multiair engine has valves that are hydraulically operated..no pushrods or conventional lifters.
that is why they use a oil pan heater instead of a coolant block heater...so the valves open on cold starts.
