I have a 92 daytona with an 87-89 3.0 V6 out of a caravan. I want to bracket race it. It has a 2.19 60 ft but I can't get it to go all the way through the 1/8 mile. Whenever it gets to 4,000 rpm, it cuts back and breaks up. I had to run it until it got to 4000 rpm and let out of it until I could mash it again until it got to 4000 rpm again all the way down the track. I have changed fuel filters and fuel pumps, plugs, and wires. The only thing I haven't done yet is change the computer. Please help me get back on track and all the way down the track.

It sounds like it might be a timing or spark issue.
