quick speed question

Default quick speed question

well ive just aquired this 1989 turbo 2 shelby Z with a new 2.2 turbo and 5 speed in it and already my buddy who has a 2002 mustang GT with the V8 and 5 speed is talkin smack on my old car...so before we actually race maybe u guys can save me some embarassment. a drag race from a dead stop who do you think the winner would be?

Where are your altitude? Is the Z stock? It could be a good race, but the off the line is where he will get you. You will need atleast exhaust, or to be sure, do that and a computer from fwdperformance.com and you will beat him for sure. My RT used to have no problem putting 7+ carlengths on my buddys 2000 GT with catback and a programmer. But, our air up here really kills his car. He bought a 03mach one, we will see if he can beat the recently rebuilt RT. My guess is no. lol

eh i dont know my altitude, im in pittsburgh so w/e it is im not sure....he is very slow off the line......so pretty much the worst part is over with.....im confident i can take him....mustangs suck...lol...
