Default a little help please

alright i just got my first car, a 1990 dodge daytona ES with the 3.0 V6. shes finally running good and i was looking to add a little horse power and have seen some stuff online about replacing the air box with the k & n cone filter from a 5 liter mustang and was wondering if anyone knows if this really helps and if it does how would i go about doing the swap. if anyone can help that would be great.
thanks

well for that i just have it plugged .. ya it makes your check engin light come on but thats not a big deal... for my stom pipe i got made it takes the place of even the air scoop right beside your batt and goes down to the hole (vent) in front bumper ...and in my eyes a daytona is to good to have something from a mustang in it ... buttry that and see howyou like it ..... goodluck
