Well to give you a good idea, I'm 18 on my parents policy with all the discounts I can get and it's $130 a month, but I havea package that is fully loaded (towing, highest coverage, ect.). My friend with a Trans/Am with the most basic and cheapestinsurance available is $128. So depending on your plan, a Daytona should have pretty good rates comparativly.
Tell them it has a 5 star crash rating both passenger and driver, and a driver airbag. Also 4-wheel disk brakes. It may even be antilock. Can't beat that! Just be drive carefully if it's a stick, I've had bad experiances with my first car that was a stick. Watch out for those pesky trees!
IROC or IROC RT.? It will make a difference. But for my IROC RT I only pay 65 a month for full coverage and an agreed aprasial of 10,000 for the car. Its through progressive.
The IROC R/T has the Turbo III motor, MUCH faster, about 224hp. Regular IROC's have eitherthe 2.5 Turbo I, still a quick engine or the V6 (not bad but not as easy to modify).
Not to mention, the suspension on the iroc RT is much better. But, as far as insurance goes, they only care about how fast it is. lol And the RT is the fastest of the bunch.
