Are there any good mods I can put on my Daytona? Have a '90 v6 supercharged, Cherry Bomb muffler, ported, and some more. Buying it December 4th. Is there anything I can be able to put on it? Exhaust system? Headers? Lighter/bigger wheels? I intend to take it track racing and such, so I want to know what would make it perform even better than it does. Mid 13's quarter mile at 88 miles an hour. (So says the current owner's time sheet.) Upgrade tranny? Short shifter? Do tell do tell!

You have a SCed Tona and you only run 15s?

 

Actually, he's contradicting himself by saying that it runs 13's in the post and 15's in his sig. And mid 13's at 88 MPH is far from reality, the trap speed would have to be higher to be running mid 13's. The 15's at 88 MPH sounds right though.

 

Thats for sure, more in the 15 range I bet.................it might have been a typo though?????

ive only seen 1 supercharged 3.0L... and it was in a neon... none the less, the SC didnt fit underneath the hood lol... it had about a 4" cowl

 

Yep, I've seen the same car on here before, it had a huge cowl induction hood to cover it all. I think I have the pics on my computer somewhere.

but its only gotten him into the high 14's... a waste of a S/C... the very reason i prefer turbo's... 10 psi @ 4000 rpm vs. 4 psi @ 4000 rpm for a S/C...
