92 R/T Body Accesories Needed
Anyone know where to find some body parts and accesories for the IROC R/T? I am in need of Tail Light, Headlight, Turn Signal, and Fog Light Assemblies. The current ones are too old and hazy. I need all new weather stripping as well. Also, the trim around the windows and the driver and passenger Mirrors have some real bad sun-fade, anyone have ideas on how to restore them without replacing?
As far as the trim around the door windows, mine was looking faded as well so I removed it(not a piece of cake),cleaned it,scuffed it down, primered it and then painted it with a can of satin trim paint, looks as good as new.
You can buff out your head/turn/fog lights, they sell a kit for that pretty cheap or like some shops and other people do,use ultra fine wet sand paper the clear it.
As for the other soft/rubber trim,I use clear ice(I think its made by turtlewax)on that and it does a pretty good job there.
My mirrors I painted car color, but you can use the trim black on them too.

Thankfully all of those items your looking for are the same on all '92-'93 Daytona's and not exclusive parts found just on the R/T's, so that makes it fairly easy and probably found at your local junkyard.
True, only problem with that is I am in England. There's only 2 Daytonas here (that I know of). Junkyards here don't exactly have what I'm looking for, haha
how in the world did you get the window trim off? that does seem pretty difficult to do. so the haze on the headlights is on the outside? if that's the case I might as well give that a try.
As mentioned the headlight haze can be removed with decent results.
Here's a couple places for parts, mostly performance parts but you should be able to get other parts too:
