Default V8 daytona, letting it go

hey guys. looks like i will be selling my daytona. I cant find the time to mess with it anymore so i put it on E bay. Work in the shop has kept me swamped and i am trying to finish the addition to the garage so as much as i hate to i am going toi let it go. I pulled the 360 out in 2004 and set in the hemi but havent finished it yet , no time. I will still be making the conversion parts and i have another daytona that will be getting a conversion hopefully but for now i gotta let this one go. I hate to do it but i got too many cars and not enough time.

Dang man- that really sucks. That car is the inspiration for what I am going to be doing to mine. Who ever get's it ought to know they are getting something great. Hopefully they won't do anything stupid with it. I'd put in a bid, but it would take away my fun of doing it to mine from scratch... And for me, building is as much fun as driving it when it's done!

I am probably going to cry when it goes. may be no one will want it!lol
i am asking $5900 with out motor and trans.
I have another one its a 93 thats in great shape. hopefully i will get around to building it. i just have too much work in the shop now to mess with it. it has been sitting in the garae for 4 years now , i dont have time to get the hemi running and i hate seeing it sit there partially apart. iwill probably just put the 360 back in so it runs if i dont sell it now. I still plan to keep making the conversion parts i have a guy cutting them on a water jet now and they are nice! i dont plan on stoping playing with these things though.

What is your location and what are the exact details of what you get with 5900...

i am in south central pennsylvania pa, but i have decided to keep the car because it is just too much of a pain to deal with people and try to sell it.I guess thats why i never try to sell anything. i will just leave it in the back of the garage until i get a chance to put it back on the road some day. the only cars i have ever sold are the ones where people have asked me to sell it to them.

but thanks for asking.

started putting it back together last week and it is looling good. hope to get it finished for the mopar nationals in august. I left the 360 in it and set the hemi on the engine stand but i did put the 6 speed in it this time. I will post some new pictures when its all together again.

Too bad you can't take it to Carlisle. Sounds like a fun car.

Were those Daytonas originally Turbo III cars?

my daytona was originally a v6 iroc. you could get them with the turbo 3 i think if it was an iroc rt.Iwill be at the carlisle show , just not with the daytona. i have it running again but need to clean up some more and put the interior back in. and finish the new stainless exhaust system i am making for it.

my msd box fried so i need to send it out to be fixed. i have a points distrubutor in it now so it will run.

Cool. I'll be there with my black '93 IROC R/T, NJ plates.
Just Saturday though...
