Default code 23

90 daytona, auto, 2.5 non turbo, the original 2.5 was replaced before i got it with a 2.5 from a 92 acclaim, so now i keep getting a code 23, and it's running in limp mode, the motor in it now, has no TB temp sensor on it, yet the computer insists that there is.... is there any way of getting around this, to bypass, or fool the computer to get this car to run properly ?

Well, the easiest and safest way is to put a 1990 throttle body on it and plug in the sensor. Since it's seeing an open circuit, there needs to be some kind of voltage drop across the plug to do away with the code. A valid number for a warm engine is probably about 1K ohm, but you might want to check with someone else to be sure. It would not hurt anything to plug in a 1K ohm resistor (except that the ECM will not see very cool temps at the throttle body).
