Advice Needed on Buying a Daytona
It's about 40-50 minutes northeast of where I live. I found it on craigslist under "listings in nearby areas." He did say he did not drive it in the winter. I meant to say he only drove it in the summer but I changed the wording mid-sentence.
Thanks. I have my grandparents' old 1995 Caravan right now so I need to find a job so I can get rid of it and buy something nicer. It drives like a Conestoga wagon and everything's going wrong with it, so I need something that I don't have to repair as much. Granted, if I make enough money, I might as well buy a newer car like a Caliber or an Avenger. I highly doubt I'll be able to afford a Dart or another new compact like a Chevy Cruze by the time I go to college.

Really? I just hate having something that big. I want something with two doors that's nice and fairly small. I also hate the accelerator on the Caravan. It needs so much force to get the car going anywhere. So if all Chryslers are like that, I don't want to bother with one. I've driven much more comfortable cars from other companies. I'm actually a pretty hardcore GM fan, but the Daytona offered the ideal package for my tastes that I can't get from any modern car.

Anything can be made into a really fun vehicle, boosted caravans are starting to come out of the woodwork and people are having tons of fun.
Older dodges are cheap to buy, cheap to fix, reliable, and cheap to make fast. All these are things that new cars aren't.
I was pure GM since I started driving, now I went mopar and I'll never go back. I own an 06 stratus sedan and a 95 acclaim. The acclaim is a modded 3.0, stratus modded 2.7. They both perform, ride, drive excellent and kill new car economy numbers. I average 34 with the acclaim with the 3spd and 32 with the stratus.

I seen on the last page you mentioned a daytona iroc r/t. This is a rare car 1 of 300? Has a 230whp motor and can handle 450whp+ on the stock motor. I have one and would not trade it for anything. I have never seen one that cheap! You can get TII cars for 1-3k all day in nice shape. The reliability is great also!
