A friend of mine recently purchased an 89 Daytona with Turbo 4 cylinder and AT. The engine is not intercooled. The seller was not sure what displacement the engine is. From doing a little research, it looks like Dodge offered both a 2.2L and a 2.5L non-intercooled turbo option for 1989. Is this true? If so, how can you tell the difference?

He would also like to do some basic, bolt-on power upgrades. Can anyone point me in the direction of some good sites for that type of information?

on your engine should have numbers on it find them and run the numbers it will tell you what engine it is. are run vin on dash left couner of dash.and here some links www.fwdperformance.com www.howell automotive.com www.turbododge.com... hope that helps..
