Default help w/ 88 turbo II performance upgrades

Hi everyone

I'm new to the forum and looking for some help- For the record I have an '88 daytona shelby Z intercooled turbo II. I need advice on gaining performance- heres a list of the modifications already done
1. mopar intercooler
2. K&N cone filter
3. mopar 20% injectors
4. under-drive pulley
5. MSD ignition boost (MSD coil / magnecore wires)
6. Dynomax 3"cat-back exhaust (stock manifold)
7. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator
8. cut out raiser
9. TurboX Boost controller
10.Short shifter

For the suspension- Eibach springs, polished strut tower bar, aftermarket sway bar, and 17" Konig Theory Rims w/ Nitto NT A555 extremes (225/40/17)

I'm still rockin the stock turbo and the stock manifold so any tips with that is also greatly appreciated-
Also, its a SOHC engine, i'd like to convert to a 92 or 93 twin cam head assembly if possible- if not, know any good performance cam?

All internals are forged steel,a 5sp Getrag A-555 transaxle. Boost is set around 16PSI

I'm open to any and all suggestions!!!

I am just about finished with my 87 Z, and i did alot to the motor. A nice cam for everday driving is the TAFT stage 2 from FWDperformance.com, high RPM lifters, springs, and adjustable cam sprocket and you'll get a big increase in power. I think there is a package deal for all of it at once.
There also is the cams on forwardmotioninc.com, the '475' lift is what i used to have, but its a bit rough on the idleing, and alot more expensive than FWD.

As for other upgrades, 3 bar map sensor, a stage 2 or 3 calibration(SMEC) or some sort of Mopar performance computer, a ported intake maifold with 52mm throttle body.

And, if you dont mind the noise or emissions stuff, put a straight pipe in palce of the cat HUGE difference..i must have gained 20hp+ and 3-4 PSI if not more.

As for a turbo, check them out on FWD, they have lots of options, and just bolt a new turbo onto the ported manifold, and get the 2.5" swingvalve, 3 inch downpipe to match the rest of your exhaust, and the adjustable wastegate actuator

I just increased my turbine size when i had the turbo sent out, so it is 57 trim now, and i push out 25+ psi without any boost controller.

Well good luck with the Z, let me know how you make out.

ok i had a 88 shelby z that was stock on ****y tires with a 3inch exhust and 20psi. it went 14.71 at 97.48mph. so my question is how fast do you want to go. i wouldnt go with the .57trim turbo unless your going to use a auto cause the lag is unreal. its not worth changeing to the 92,93 DOHC head if anything go with the 2.0 neon head there is work that is needed for it to work but i know guys with dodge chargers with that setup running 10.2 on pump gas. also check out this site it could help alot http://www.thedodgegarage.com/

i have almost no lag on my turbo...adjustable wastgate actuator prolly helps with that, but my turbo is heard spooling while the guage is at 5 in vac...and i will boost up right away off the line.

this turbo is not the 57 trim you would buy from FWD or FM, its custom made to specs from turbonuetics, and they know their stuff.
