a selby z with all the intercooler crap. hose clamps,air box and the damn intercooler.woot im so happy. and its all in good condishion execpt some oil on the lower intercooler pipe. i payed 100 for it all so i thought it was a great deal. oh i have an 88 daytona turbo which will now be turbo II WoOt. now do i need a blow off valve or will it be fine?

 

nice find. blow off valve would just add a nice sound, you dont have to have it though.

did you buy the whole car or just those parts...if the car is still there do you have a phone number and name for the yard?

 

they have the whole car there and is not really missing anything except what i got and a back seat i do have a bov addapter ijust need a 1g bov

 

If I remember correctly, there is a blow off valve located inside the air box. Don't forget to hook it up, you will need it.

I'm picturing the IC set up where the top hose that goes to the throttle body is actually part if the airbox itself. I put one of those systems in my 89 ES Daytona with the 2.5L turbo I.

 

now that u mention it i think this is on in the air box. right on the botton inside

 

yeah, some came with it, i think 88 they all had it and 87 some had it

 

belieave it or not my stock 88 daytona turbo I has a bov in the air box but the one i got from the selby z didnt have one??? is there one some where else on the selby z?

 

my Z didnt have one. i think they prolly came on all the 88's no matter what model, maybe, just guessing tho.
