Ok heres the deal...lol,.. Got a great deal on 3, 1988/89 Daytonas. 1 is ok and drives, 1 Looks great,has alot of extras and a blown head gasket. The last one, was pretty much cuz the guy didnt want the thing in his yard anymore.All are 2.2 efi non turbos, w/o AC... Our plan is to replace head gasket in car #2. The problem started when the jokester of the group walks out of the shop carrying the freshly pocket knifed timing belt,"This aught to make it a little more interesting", he says. Without any reference to where anything was or should be, were lost. The Haynes is a great manual,but we need more pictures! lol. None of us has worked on OHC's, and theres alot of speculation and head scratching going on. Was hoping for some detailed links etc. any thing that would help us would be great!
