Replacing Alternator on 1993 Daytona 6G72 3.0 V6
Tomorrow I will be doing my first ever auto repair.
My mechanic will be replacing the alternator on my 1993 Daytona while I hover.
Then I will take the alternator that came out of my 1993 and install it on a 1992 while my mechanic hovers.
I am looking for a good YouTube video of a mechanic replacing the alternator on a Lebarron, MiniVan, Intrepid, Eclipse, 3000GT or anything with that 6G72 3.0 V6 to study beforehand.
Please reply with a link if you know of one.
What tools will I need, and how long should it take?
I am doing this to learn how, please... no wagering.

Basic hand tools. Socket set with the correct size sockets breaker bar on hand if needed. If you cannot find a video, here's the opportunity to make one yourself. Replacing an alternator is a basic task, depending on where it is located on that car. Just a matter of removing whatever is in the way to get to it. Loosening the belt tensioner, belt and removing bolts. Be sure to disconnect the battery first. Good luck and report back.
It was a clusterfk
My drunk neighbor harassed my crew and they left to avoid confrontation. Both alternators have been replaced but the serpentine belt is still off of both of them.
I was too busy trying to talk down my neighbor to actually learn much about replacing an alternator.

Two different cars. Put a high output alternator in the 1993 and replaced the dead one in the 1992 with the alternator from the 1993
It was supposed to be a whole learning and growth thing.
See initial post.
