Default 1989 Daytona es

I picked up a 1989 Dodge Daytona non turbo for 300.00 not running for 30 years.
It has 62k original miles.
Are these worth anything?

Well for 300 the car is low miles and still a good looking car as far as the turbo. They are **** in those years I feel
MOre to break down.
This one is simple and although I'm not big fan of front wheel drive.
I have a 1989 Chrysler tc Maserati that has plenty of problems. I'd rather scrap it than this simple Daytona!
A 60 k mile car is a good thing. No mater the car.
It has the nice body kit all around and dent free.

I'll get it running and drive it
Something to play with

For 300 bucks, if you can make it run and drive, that sounds like a win in my book. Insurance will be cheap too.

I agree 100% on it being cheap .... they have a great little 4cyl engine and are good runners.
If the car is complete and was stored properly ... still has glass and upholstery .... Will need all the usual rubber belts, hoses, tires, brakes replaced ... electrical connections cleaned.
But would make a cool old driver.

I have a 1993 Caravan that we enjoy driving .... It can be very reliable when it wants to be.
It does have 188K on it but the paint/body/interior is still really nice for it's age. It has a rebuilt transmission, new tires, brakes, axles, shocks, struts .... I just installed a used engine with 135K on it.
Just a basic car that is very simple and cheap to maintain .... it use to be the wife mother car before she passed away so we keep it up.

Nice.. That's why I bought it. Basically it needs paint but body is real straight and at 60k it should be still in good shape..

What's the problems? I have one also along with two other turbo cars. 86 Turbo Z Daytona and a 88 Chrysler LeBaron convertible. My Lebaron has about the same amount of miles. Fun cars! But i want a to put a V8 of some kind in them and convert them to rear wheel drive. What the factory should have done! But back then they probably would have never sold.

First off it's been sitting 20 years so it has a little light surface rust in some areas. No keys and flat tires.. but for 300 what can you expect. .

Once you have the title in hand, might take it down to your local dealership, and see if they can cut you a key from the VIN. We used to be able to do that at the Chevy dealer I worked at.....
