Will a 383 Need Adjusting
I have an '86 Dodge Daytona on my hands and i'm lookin to do something a little different. I've seen exline's work with his 5.7 Hemi. But i'm looking to drop in a 383 Chevy Stroker Engine. I'm curious if the engine compartment would need modified for it to fit and if so how much? I would also need room in the future for the additions of a supercharger and a turbocharger[:-]. That is what i have planned for the upcoming summer. Once that is finished i may attempt a RWD conversion. I know this will take a lot of work but it will be something special. Am I completely crazy or am i a pioneer. Give me your thoughts people.
I'm sure the chevy [sm=confused06.gif]motor will fit the same as the mopar but not in a fwd set up it will need to be made rwd to fit.I'm sure anything wil fit if you do pleanty of work enen turbos or supercharger.making it fwd with a v8 will be really tough.better get out the tourch and start cutting. good luck with your [sm=ummmmokay.gif]chevy conversion

Sorry didn't mean to offend ya lol. Daytona's just give me the picture that they deserve the old american muscle. Now i'm not putting down the little turbo 4 bangers those things can move the model just seems to be made just how the old ones used to be, big engines and RWD. Where at in Pa are you located? But its either an 383 or a mopar engine thats gonna be going into it.
I'm not offended I have some chevy friends.....they cant help it lol...i'm close to breezewood pa next to the maryland border.I tried to get one of my friends to put a 340 mopar in his cavalier and he just looked at me funny[sm=confused06.gif]
