Default Underpowered 3.0L

I recently bought a 91 Daytona Iroc, came with the 3.0L and it was terribly under powered. I have done a fair bitr of work, not upgrading just repairs for the most part. I actually just got a new front engine mount. The old one was broken all together for as long as I had the car and the previous owners weren't so nice as to mention it. But with that fixed it is a bit more stable. It's leaking oil I believe from Cam seals. I would like to know any tips performance wise, I'm quite now to this I'm only 18, just got my car, the first one I've gotten so I'd like to play with it. I'm a huge Dodge/Mopar fan, I even stuck a 2005 Dodge emblem from the rear tailgate of a Ram over the Chrysler symbol at the fron of the car. I was told by a friend that I could get a peice from a new Caravan, and it would fit and add about 10 HP, is this true? I don't know what it is I completely forgot, but does anyone know of some. relatively cheap performance ups?

K&N Air filters usually add 10-25hp, depending, also cold air intake works too

For upgrades for the 3.0L check out http://www.allpar.com/mopar/3up.html
The 3.0L isn't in new caravans, it was replaced by the 3.3L and 3.8L. The older vans had a large 52 or 58mm throttle body (they are pretty cheap at some junkyards)... maybe thats what your friend was talking about.
