Anyone think a turbo is worth 50 dollers, i found a Daytona with the complete engine at a salvage yard, with turbo, Im sure it has to be rebuild anyway, thing is, i have to take the turbo off to get the egr tube, the person i got the car from replaced the turbo recently but the tube was junk so he made a plate and blocked it off.

 

Depends on the condition. If you just want a spre for a core/rebuild, sure. Check the tubine shaft for any movement (up-down- side to side). That will provide some info as to its condition. What is the yer of the daytona your found at the yard? Model info?

 

These Dodge turbos are not really worth $50 IMO due to how common they are and how small they are. I can get them for only $30 at the local yard..... the reason they are so easy to get for so cheap as most every other car out there has bigger ones.
$50 if you do not have easy access to lots of them....such as rural area....it is a good price.
