i will be driving either normal or aggressive and all of a sudden the check engine light will come on and the car will jerk llike it just stalled and start slowing down leaving the gas pedal useless. i have to turn off the car and restart it for it to stop doing that. the light will stay on but then go off after a few different times of restarts. then a week or two later itll do it again????
whats going on can anyone relate and help!?!

also i just added a cold air intake and was wondering about the driving in the rain or after it just rained, i dont have a flter cover just yet but is it ok to drive?

your coil pack most likey i had this problem it was the coil pack

 

Mine was getting a bit rough lately and I have kept up on spark plugs and what not. I just added a bottle of Redline SI-1 and much better just needed clean injectors.
Easy fix for me.

 

perhaps you just need a quick tune up.

 

well i would try the injector cleaner first its cheaper then a tune up and if thats not it atleast you have clean injectors haha if not injectors tune up but most likely if the check engine light comes on its the coil pack

 

what kind does anyone recommendand would i need new wires and plugs?

 

i need to do one to but im waiting an saving up for msd but that me you might not want to just spend 75 just on the coil pack

 

is that like a high performance one? i saw them and they're red. got one in blue?
