Question...replacing 01 neon AC compressor
Compressor on an 01 neon needs to be replaced asap (went bad and ran a short belt for the last couple of months, but it's starting to get hot [:@])
When I took a look under the car it looks like a bracket (possibly one for a motor mount?) is blocking the way of dropping the compressor. Is this the case? Or can the compressor fit through?
I also saw two bolts from the bottom and I'm assuming there is one more from the top?
If I have to remove any other components I'll pick up a haynes manual for it...but I was hoping you guys could give me some tips so I could avoid that.
Thanks for any help

Surely someone knows about removing the compressor from these cars?
I found some diagrams and it shows 4 bolts for the compressor, but the diagram for removal and install still doesnt say if you can remove it from the car without moving the bracket below it.
I'll be trying to do this tomorrow, so any tips would be great.

YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE BRACKET AT ALL. IT ALSO HELPS TO REMOVE THE PASS. SIDE MOTOR MOUNT JUST THR FRONT PART WITH THE RUBBER BUSHING PART. TURN THE WHEELS ALL THE WAY TO THE PASS SIDE. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. G/L
I see...thanks for the tips.
Is there anything fancy to removing the motor mount?
I didnt get to do it this weekend due to yardwork that needed to be done, so I'll be tackling this first chance I get this week.
Any other advice is greatly appreciated

Swapped it out without too much trouble.
Disconnected all of the AC lines from the top and accessed the top bolts easily.
Dropped the motor mount and got the bottom bolts out.
The hardest part was figuring out how the little clips held the electrical connections on. Turns out you just need to use a flathead screwdriver to push them out to the side.
After I got the new compressor back in with all of the bolts already in it (so I wouldnt have to struggle getting them in position) and then used a spud wrench to pull the motor back into place.
It took about an hour and a half.
Could probably do it in 30-45 minutes now that I see how its done.
