....software flash/update for the 2009 5.7 CC?
I am going in to the service dept. today and I want to make sure mine has the latest flash from Dodge.

I know this is useless...but you have a different engine than everyone else. Some of us have a 5.7L but yours is a 5.7 CC.

But all kidding aside, I do not know yet either.

 

Is CC the same as CID?

 

I went to the dealership on Friday but it was 5:30pm and could not find a technician to help me...Will go to another dealer and see if I have better luck there.

 

Please let us know ratimux. I also have an 09 with a build date of Oct 08 and am sure that I am due for some flashes. Wes

 

I will if I can find out. I dont know why but when I ask for that service techs pretend that I speak in foreign language...I don't know why is iot so hard for them to just plug my car and tell me the version...

I know it is useless but when I had work done on my BMW the techs had no problem to tell me if my car has the latest software, what that software includes and when can I bring my car in to install it

 

The latest one has been out several months.Someone posted the number.18097 or some such.Had mine updated couple months back.Hooked it up a few days ago at a dealer and mine still had the latest and greatest.On some there is a heater/ac programing update also.Certain version ECMs take certain version updates also.It show the tech which one when Star scan tool is plugged in.

If you find out, let us know. I went to my local dealer a month or so ago to get all the flashes and RRTs. I asked what the latest was and the service person said they just type the VIN into their palm pilot, if it needs a flash it'll show it and upload it.

 

i just called 2 different dealers and they both asked me what i was having problems with. they said that i would need to bring the vehicle in so they could diagnose it and then flash if they need to. i just want to hook up the computer and see if anything has an update. can i demand this or is it something they have complete control over?
