Default 10 way power seat

Purchased 09 ram sport crew with leather buckets, window sticker says truck has 10 way drivers side power seat, truck has six way. Ordered truck in august, possible plant didnt have seats due to shutdown and put six way in instead? Contacted dealer, will get back to me. Any suggestions?

I definately do not have the up and down, I have tilt -up/down, forward /back- recline forward/back. The drivers side is identical to passenger side. Truck sat idle in plant during bankruptcy, think they grabbed what parts they could to deliver during ramp up.

maybe.... [1]tilt up, [2]tilt down (front) / [3]tilt up, [4]tilt down (back) / [5]move forward, [6]move back / [7]recline forward, [8]recline back / then maybe the lumbar [9]in and [10]out? i'm not around to actually take a look at my seat but that's what i'm thinking the 10 positions probably are..

Not counting the lumbar, if you have the two switches that resemble a seat - you have 10 way.

you have your back support lean forward and back (2)
seat for your butt, forward and back (2)
seat will rise up or down (2)

now tip of same lower switch

front tilt for your legs/butt up/down (2)
lower back/butt tilt up/down (2)

= 10 way adjustment
then you have your lumbar support switch which is not part of the 10 way

The upper part of the 2 buttons, the part that resembles the back of the seat only operates the recline positions. The bottom button does 6 more operations making 8. The lumbar makes 10 I guess. If your upper button does more than recline back and forward, let me know how it is doing anything else?

The tilt up/down front and rear are 4 of the ways, but he added "UP" and "Down" (whole seat) and those are not considered part of the 10 way since the previously mentioned tilt adjustments are also what controls that. That's where he got 10 without the lumbar. I think this is the confusion.
