Default engine or trans surge

Does anyone else have this problem? Some times when going slightly up hill and getting to a point where you have to slow down or stop the truck starts surging about a 300 rpm change constant until you either stamp the gass or let of? I never had this problem until after the dealer updated the computer. I don't recall what the flash #s where either.

It's the MDS kicking in at an inappropriate time. Mine does it too and it's annoying.

once i took the shifter and moved it to manual mode to disable MDS and nothing changed until i gave it more gas. If what i have read is right MDS is off when in manual mode so it could not be MDS right.

I have an 09 Hemi Sport CC. Mine will surge forward when slowing in traffic or coming to stop right after the computer shifts the tranny to 2nd from 4th,(it does not use 3rd in auto mode). The engine will jump 100-200 rpm making it speed up when I am wanting to slow down. It can really be a pain when you are timing your stop and then all of a sudden you are speeding up! If you find a firmware fix for this, let us know.

If you guys are decelerating/coasting (not using brakes) up a slight incline to a stop, like a stop light or something, at real slow speed, do any of you experience a chugging or jerking sensation? Mine feels like that sometimes, but only on real shallow inclines. It jerks at a frequency of like 2 or maybe 3 times per second. I'm sure it has something to do with the engine being at such a low rpm, but it's just annoying. Anyone else experiencing this?

I notice when pulling to a stop, like to park, the engine revs just a little bit. This could be a safety issue in my opinion. If my foot had not been on the brake, I would have gone over the curb. Its doing this all the time now. It did not do this before.
