Had the same issue in my 2006 1500 and 2008 2500. I just got under there and sprayed some Silicon lube. Not WD40. Never came back. But yes the dealer will lube for you. I mean while you are there getting the shaft you might as well get the lube....

Where did you spray exactly? Mine did this a little today, and then went away. But, I would imagine it will come back.
I think has been a problem with brake pedals in lots of different makes and models. In mine there is a pivot BUSHING. Should be a pivot BEARING. Just lube the pivot bushing. Like I said a silicon or a white grease spray will do the trick. Best if the truck is running and a friend/wife somebody pushes down while you spray. Keep a rag handy as you don't want to get any on the rubber part of the pedal. Makes keeping your foot on the brake a bit tricky for a while. While your down there lube the hood release and door hinges, wife, whatever else is squeeking...
