Costco puts nitrogen in all the tires they put on. Supposedly, the nitrogen molecule chains are longer and therefore they don't "leak" out of the tire like normal air does. As such, you should not drop a psi a month like normal tires do without nitrogen. Also, it doesn't expand and contract as much so you don't have the tire pressure going up in hot weather and down in cold weather to the same degree.

Costco removed the air and replaced it with Nitrogen and I did not buy the tires at Costco. It's a free service at here at our Costco. They even put on the little green stem caps.
They check pressure and add if needed every time I am at the store. That's service. Dodge wanted me to pay them to get on their "Nitrogen Program". What a joke!

I run my tires with 78 percent nitrogen. Seems to work just fine.

Actually its a good deal for those people who have no clue and never check their tire pressures...

I've got it in mine, but I fail to see the point.

The pressures fluctuate just as much as if they had normal air in them.

Besides, the tire pressure warning system that our trucks have on them seems to do a pretty good job already.

I had Nitrogen put in my tires back in Feb and have not had to top up my tires yet. I have had Nitrogen in my last 2 vehicles and have gone over a year without having to top them up. Even then it was only a lb or two that was lost. Definitely worth the money.

I had nitrogen put in mine just because it was free. I certainly wouldn't pay for it. I've got an air compressor that doesn't get used enough and I don't mind spending 2 minutes adjusting my tire pressures.

I have Nitrogen in all my vehicles, the dealer says that it is better for the tires. Every winter that stupid tire pressure indicator comes on with every vehicle and I take the truck/jeep back in for a free top up to the dealership.
I personally do not see the benefit of Nitrogen if it really does not contract with cold air the way they say it does. That said how much difference is there between air and nitrogen at -25 degrees C
