I've been driving my ram for a year now and although it is a far better truck in performance and comfort, I still miss many aspects of my Dak such as maneuverability, road feel, visibility.

Gas mileage is comparable. The Ram gets a little better but not much.

I know how you feel. I traded in my '05 DAK for my new '10 RAM. However, I'm quickly forgetting the DAK. The RAM is a whole much better pickup for my use and the gas mileage is better. Of course it all depends on how heavy your right foot is. The only thing I miss about my DAK is that it was paid off. Oh well. Good Luck.

15" wheel will not fit over the rotors on these trucks. I do believe the smallest you can go is 17".

As for gas mileage, meh. Between 14 and 18 is what I've been getting. Just depends on where and how I'm driving.

I bought a 2010 SLT 4X4 with 3.92 gears and the Hemi. I get 18 MPG {imperial} on the hightway and about 16 MPG around town. I get between 10 to 13 MPG when pulling my 23 ft travel trailer. So far it is the best truck I have owned.
