No performance numbers available just yet, but Ive talked to the folks from Hurst and hopefully I will have more information soon!

What we do know is that Hurst will build just 50 examples of the 2011 Hemi Hauler, starting with a 2011 Ram 1500 sport R/T, adding the exterior and interior dress-up items and a supercharger under the hood.

I am glad they are only making 50 cause they will be so expensive I won't have to be tempted to buy one. Sweet!!!

 

Nice...I wonder what supercharger they'll be going with, there's not too many out there for the Ram.

I'm suprised they are going with a centrifugal supercharger instead of a roots or twin screw. I also hate the way they try and stuff the air/water intercooler on top of the intake manifold. It just doesn't look clean. Lets hope they use the straight cut gears in that snail shell so that thing makes a lot of noise at idle. The helical gears gives it no justice.

They say in the add that the vortech supercharger combined to a new exhaust system will be doing around 600hp and 550 lbs torque!!!!! I found it powerfull at 390hp imagine that!

 

I think it would be a fun ride but for the $$$ I would rather have a....well, you pick 'em.

 

I'm curious to see if they do supercharge the current Hemi.

The inherited design of the short ring-lands on the pistons of the preceding 5.7 Hemi's severely castrate the longevity of the motor with F/I even at moderate boost levels.

Hoping they've improved on the ring-lands with the current Hemi w/MDS.
