Default Hitch Cover Plate

I recently made a hitch cover plate for Matt99. With the encouragement of Matt, Razorhawg, bgbluram2 and along with a couple others on DF I have decided to see if any other subscribers would be interested in having one made for their body lifted trucks. The one I made for Matt was for a 3" BL. I know there are ones out there made of plastic but I am going to make them out of stainless steel diamond plate or aluminum diamond plate. Which I am sure will be much more durable and nicer looking. I have included a couple pics of the one I made for Matt and constructive criticism is welcome. Tell me what ya think.

I have only made the one for Matt99 so far and I was sure he told me he had a 6" BL but I could be mistaken. I pmed him and asked him to let me know what inch lift he had so I would know for sure. But regardless of the inch lift, Matt posted pics with a tape measure so I could see the measurements and I went from there. So they can be custom made to fit any inch lift. I am going to sell them, if I sell any, for $15.00 plus shipping. Yea, you get your lift you will have to give me a shout and I will hook you up. And tell a friend!

Ricer, I have a question. Can you make these wider and come down to cover the hitch hole?

If I'm thinking what you are thinking they would stick out pretty far from the bumper. If you are talking about covering the receiver part of your hitch. Best thing to do is post a pic of your hitch so I could see what you are talking about exactly. If your hitch mounts more flush,(farther up under your truck than Matt99's), it wouldn't be a problem. As far as the width that is not a problem. I could make it as wide as you want it.

Are you doing a 3"? If so the one like Matt99s should bolt right up, as far as from the top of the receiver to the bottom of the bumper. You could just let me know as far as what width you would want. I could even angle it from the top of the receiver all the way out to a point with no straight edges on the sides. Just holler at me when you are ready.

Yea, I would just need to know some measurements. The measurements I would need would be: the space between the bottom of your bumper to the top of your receiver that you want covered up, how wide you would want it and if you want stainless or aluminum. I would just taper it out from the edge of the receiver to however wide you would want it.
