I may be trading in my crew cab, strictly because I can get a better interest rate, and I'll have an equally equipped truck, with a few bonus'.

I have no family, nore do I plan on one, therefore, I believe I'll be moving to a Regular Cab.

There truck is not advertised as an Express model, even as the dealer didn't know about such truck. I was looking through the build sheet and noticed, AGDP - Ram 1500 Express.

Regular Cab, 4x4, Hemi, Dual Exhaust, Body matched bumpers and grille (cuz I'm canadian ), console shift, power window/locks, 20's.

I however, have a question. Does anybody know if the Express comes with Speed Control, and is the EVIC standard on these trucks?

I have not seen the truck yet, as it is being delivered on Friday, and have to make my decision before I see it, as there is a line up for it, being it's options...

Oh, and it's Deep Water Blue.

Can someone tell me if this truck will have cruise control, and EVIC... These are the only two things I'm confused about.

From the information I've read about packages, if you have the HEMI and Trailer Hitch, than you'll have EVIC, Brake Controller, and Cruise Control. Can anyone verify?

Also, do these trucks have overhead consoles with map lights?

 

I ordered one of those cause our local dealer had none on his lot yet and when it came in my wife decided she didn't want me to get a single cab any more so we got the quad cab. Sweet truck though. That thing will really get up and down the road very fast!

 

I'm not real sure. I sat at a desk with the sales manager and told him everything I wanted in the truck and when my wife had a change of heart I told him to put all that in a quad cab and I'll take it. The one I was getting was pretty much maxed out with the exception of leather and the price was $23,600. I will tell you this, if you get a hitch from them they will charge you $333 when you can pick one up on the internet for $180 with free shipping instead of paying interest on that already over priced $333. Nerf bars from the dealer also go for around $600. I just got my truck last week so I just went through all this. Something to think about.

 

Well, this isn't special ordered (by me), it's an order that went array (likely similar to your situation).

The price is CDN funds, so it'll be much more than your american pricing we are so jealous of up here!

 

Odd, I did not think, and really still do not, they offered the center console on the Express. Suppose to be a VERY basic truck, plus wheels, exhaust with the Hemi and dual exhaust with optional 4x4. No other frills, like power windows, locks, ect.

 

Just tried to build one, no power options, other than remote start and locks. No center console option, only 40/20/40 bench or an upgraded 40/20/40 split bench.

 

Weird then... Maybe it's a canadian thing... It doesn't even show it as an option on the canadian site...

Thus the reason for requesting the build sheet before even seeing the truck... The build sheet is in another thread...
