Default washer fluid spray nozzle

The other day,I started my truck, and the windshield was dusty,so I pressed the washer fluid button, and my passenger side spray nozzle landed on my hood.It is a little plastic insert that pushes back into the spray nozzle head fastened to the hood.WTF.........I have never seen this before! To fix it,I just used some krazy glue(gel)so it wouldn't set up to fast, and applied it to the insert, and pushed back into the housing, and wa,la !!!!! I should have taken it to the dealer, but I didn't want them to keep it for three days over a spray nozzle...Has any one else had this problem?

Cant say i`ve had the w/w nozzle problem, but i HAVE had the issue of a dealer(s) keeping my truck for several days just for a 5 minute fix issue. I think they`re copying the manufactuer again, no time to fix your truck, but have plenty of time to smoke some dope though. Jeez, maybe THATS why we see all this trouble at the dealerships anymore, they`re so fugged up that they CANT diagnois anything properly...!!!!!!!....lol lol lol.

How is this thing held on?
I want to pop mine off to apply a hood decal

NEVERMIND,
took the insulation off, pulled the hoses off, then was able to see the 2 clips. yes a pain to reach but some long needlenose pliers worked!

Lost one of mine .They just snap in,but are hard to get at, because of the way the hood is designed. Not much room for your fingers.I made the mistake of buying after market replacement that screws in place ,instead of snapping in place.

Has anybody found a good solution for this yet? I might try the Super Glue thing, but I don't want to gum it up, either.

I have a 2010 Ram 1500 and the nozzle inserts have started popping out pretty regularly when I use the washer.

Default 2009 same problem

Mine is gone, too. Used the washer today and water gushed out - insert is totally gone.

I did use super glue along the sides and it seems to be working fine.
