I have been tracking my mpg since I got my 09. the computer mpg and hand calculated has been within 0.5 mpg or less of each other.

Not mine. In the summer it is usually off by a full mpg, winter it is not as bad. The computer always reports more mpgs than I actually get.

So your real (calculated) MPG increased by 2.5 mpg after the dealer flashed your truck? Wonder what was changed in that update to make such a major difference?

Think you have me confused with someone else. That is not what I said. I said that mpg reading from the computer is +- 0.5 mpg of when I hand calculate. That is fill the tank, figure the miles driven, and do the math. I get right at epa rating 13/19. No flashes the dealership has done has changed the mpg.
