Default Any Way to Keep the Puddle Lamps on Longer?

Is there a way to keep the puddle lamps on longer on my 2011 Ram? When I get to work it's dark and I keep my laptop, etc. on the passenger side floor. When I get out of the truck, by the time I walk around to the other side to open the door and get my stuff out, the puddle lamps have turned off already. I didn't see anything in the menu that would adjust the timing on this. Am I just missing it somewhere? Thanks.

Yes, while parked go into your menu on your EVIC and there is an option of it. I came across it the other day.

The headlamp off delay setting. Default is 30 seconds I think.
There is also the approach lamp setting which maybe times the puddle lamps.

I've messed with both of those settings and it hasn't made a difference. Guess I will mess with it some more.

Simple - open and close the door twice when you are getting out - the second time, they stay on MUCH longer.

Same problem and I had the software update done for the puddle lamps. They were staying on for like 10-15 minutes and the update fixed that but now they shut off in about 15 seconds no matter where I set the timer in the EVIC

roadrnnr... what "software update" did you have done to your puddle lamps? My stay on for approximately 10-15 minutes unless I lock the doors. It doesn't matter what setting I have them on in the EVIC. My vehicle is garaged (i don't need to lock the doors)...so it drive me nuts that the puddle lamps stay illuminated that long.

Thanks in advance !
