Check engine light came on this morning.Now home from work, used codereader,PO 456 came up, small evap system leak. Where do I start to look for this?

Loose or bad gas cap. That's where I would start.

Yep, most common cause is the gas cap, from there look around the evap canister for a failed hose clamp. I dunno if they use any better on the 4th Gens, but the hose clamps on the 3rd Gens are the cheesiest I've ever seen. I'll invest $2 in a clamp anytime I happen to be working around one and just go ahead and replace it with a better quality clamp even if the thing still looks ok...
