Default Changing Front Turn Signal Bulb

Is there a quick way at getting to it? Mine is burnt out on the lower (running lights) setting. I'd heard you have to take the grille off and remove the entire headlight assembly. Is there any quick tricks to getting to it easier/faster?

I think you can get away with unbolting the grille at the top and tipping it ahead slightly to et to the headlamp bolts.

But if you've gotten that far you may as well just pull the bottom two retainer clips out of the grille and take it all the way off. The headlights are so much easier to access that way. Just make sure to tape off your bumper to avoid scratches.

Is this a stupid way to have to get to the bulbs? Definitely. It sucks that it is that much dis-assembly.

Yep. Pretty soon you'll have to go to the dealers for them to start your truck for ya.....Working on your own vehicle is quickly becoming a thing of the past. No matter what brand you buy.

Isn't that the truth!

When my wife and I bought our new Regal GS last year, I climbed underneath for the first oil change and...

"where the hell is the oil filter?!?!"

I was almost embarrassed when the wife asked why I had the manuel out looking for the filter location. Ended up being a enclosed cylinder in the engine bay, which actually is quite nice and convenient.

Finally found it. There's a small access "door" (really a flap in the plastic) of the wheel well where you can access the turn signal lights. It's small and cramped (especially if you have larger wheels/tires), but do-able. Open up the door, push the safety clip out of the lock position, then squeeze the tab and turn counter clock-wise. The harness and bulb will come out and it's easy to replace. Overall it takes about 5 minutes to get it in and out, mainly because it was so tight getting in there to push the tab and turn.

Hope this helps.
