Default 2013 Ram Questions

I'm thinking about buying a 2013 Ram and have a few questions so I wanted to see if anyone here knows the answers.

What is the spray in bedliner like? I have Linex in my 2009 and really like it but the factory spray liner is a little less and would save me the trouble of having it done.

If you don't get the bucket seats on the laramie, does that mean the transmission is on the dash?

How does the iPod connect? Do all of the stereo options have the 3.5mm jack input like my 2009?

Thanks

Big,

The shift on the dash is determined by the transmission you get. If you get the 8 speed transmission you will get the dial shifter. All radio options have the IPod integration. Below is a link with more radio information.

Thanks. Does anyone here have the factory spray in bedliner? How does it compare to Linex?

I've seen two Rams with the factory installed sprayed-in bed liner. They looked very professionally installed. I cannot attest to durability, but they both looked and felt like a very substantial coating.

The OEM factory sprayed bedliner is as good (or better) as any aftermarket company spraying them in for you.
Have several friends that got the OEM sprayed in liner, all looked very good, actually i personally think the OEM is a better looking result.

....just my own personal opinion

It looks like to get a truck with the active grill shutters that you have to order the upgraded transmission. Am I reading that right on the website?

Active grill shutters (MDX) are available as an option on the Tradesman equipped with the 3.6 motor and the 8 speed transmission. They are standard on the SLT with the 3.6 and the 8 speed transmission.

You can get them as an option with the 8spd transmission. DFD is the sales code. Just not standard.
