I would look into a Magnaflow muffler. They are stainless so they won't rust and sound/flow quite nicely.

Also check out the Borla, it is stainless and sounds excellent, it is not as loud as the Magnaflow on part throttle, but when you get on it , it sounds really mean. On the highway there is no drone when the MDS kicks in. You can talk above the muffler on the highway when the windows are up, it increases the performance, but still maintains decent sound levels, I like the best of both worlds, i got mine in 09 for 99.00, they have went up since there popularity

here is mine at start up

Ive had every muffler on the market between my last 2 rams and 71 nova.

flowmaster= drone and rust out quickly

dynomax= drone

magnaflow= lowest of the drone

I myself may end up getting a "heavy duty" flopro inorder to minimize highway drone. However Im not sure I will ever replace my stock exhaust, because I cant deal with highway drone and lack of peacefulness when I drive.

How loud do you want it, are you worried about drone when your driving down the road, especially the highway on long trips?

If you've got money, look into the corsa DB exhaust

1st Choice = MAGNAFLOW (stainless)
2nd Choice = MAGNAFLOW (stainless)
3rd Choice = MAGNAFLOW (stainless)

Yep, magnaflow all the way...!!!
All though i DO like the mufflex... they weld on the added pipe length thats needed.

Hey, if you've got a witch muffler that is holy - I'd keep that one for a souvenir!

Heheheheeee, couldn't resist. Follow the above advice, those boys know their mufflers.

I am wondering also what exhaust to get. I have a 2012 with the Hemi, I tow my travel trailer a lot and don't want to deal with the drone on freeway either. Since when towing the engine is spinning at least at a constant 2250-2700 rpm, it's hard to know what will work without spending money to find out. Then there is the whole MDS issue too when not towing. Any ideas?
