I have an 09 RCSB with the Hemi. It runs like a scalded ape, no other truck has ever come close to keeping up with it. A RCSB wih a few mods and a tuner will easily do high 13's in the quarter. On the freeway, when I am driving at 65MPH I have no problems with getting 22-24MPG and one time I did do 26. I am a 4x4 so you should get even better mileage.

Pros: Best truck on the market hands down...! Lots of towing capabilities. Most comfortable ride.
I have the hemi 4x4 quad cab sport... Avg 16mpg city & 22mpg highway (stock tune w/89 octane gas)
Cons: Service work after the sale, hard to find good tech`s. Not cool, but thats any "Big 3" dealership today.

Advice: Get one with 3.92 gears and the limited slip rear differential.

thanks guys,
im looking for some performance but It will also be driven to work 2o miles one way
so im not sure if 392 rear would be the best bet I think if I did upgrade the gears from the factory I would only do 355 I think stock is 327

I drive a 08 Altima now and I no im not going to get even close to that, but I miss my trucks and I like the look of the dodge truck and im tired of being on the floor driving..

so id be happy with 20 to 22 driving to work

as for service work all dealers suck at service work before my 08 Altima I had a 07 gto and it was always AT THE dealer for many days because th3ey couldn't figure stuff out

Try to get the 8 speed trans if possible, 3.55 rear minimum if towing anything is preferable, 3.92 if towing alot near 8 to 9k lbs. And as mentioned, LSD rear.

If you keep your foot out of the Hemi you can get great mileage with this truck (wind conditions and terrain permitting).

We bought the same truck your looking at buying, except we got the 4X4. We love the truck, we mostly tow a 18ft boat, so as far as mileage goes I can't really say other then we got 12.7 on the last tank towing the boat. The boat and trailer might weight 3000-3500lbs, and we don't even feel it back there. We have the 3.55 anti-spin axle, and the Hemi.

We got the stock AM/FM/ Sirius and if I had it to do over, I'd opt for the next step up radio. Reception seems weak for most of the radio stations around here.

I can't say I have any cons yet. Good luck on our new purchase!
Remember to show us pics of her when you get it.
