Default '09 with lifetime powertrain

Have a quick question. I have an '09 with lifetime powertrain warranty. I just had a transmission flush 2 weeks ago and then left for vacation. The truck sat for a week in the garage and when I got home the pan was leaking from the front of the gasket. I have called the dealer to ask why all of the sudden it is leaking after a flush of the system, so I am taking it back. My question is, aren't gaskets covered under the powertrain warranty? The way I read it they are.

Transmission: transmission case and all internal
parts; torque converter; speed sensors; pressure sensors;
drive/flex plate; transmission range switch; transmission
control module; bell housing; oil pan; seals and gaskets for
listed components only.

Should be. Seems odd that the gasket would leak after a fluid replacement (nobody "flushes" transmissions any more). Are you sure it is the pan and not the TC seal?

Yes, leaks are covered. This is also probably a good time to remind people you must take your vehicle into the dealership to have it "inspected" in order to maintain the lifetime power train warranty. I think it is eveyr 5 years, my memory is fading a little on that part.

Yes. 5 years something like 30 days on either side of the in service date.

Yes from what I have read it has to be every 5 years within 60 days of the anniversary date. I take it to the same place every time for service and they supposedly do an inspection every time.

So I should expect this to be at least covered by them from the service, if not the lifetime powertrain warranty.

...and yes it is coming from the transmission pan gasket I have been under there 3 times now to dry it up. Its not a huge leak just a drip...but that is too much for me since it wasn't there before.
Could an overfill cause this too? I started the truck, put it in neutral and pulled out the dipstick. It was between the cold and hot on the stick..

Just wondering how many miles did you have on your truck when you flushed your tranny?

From my 09 warranty book.

My 07 pan gasket was leaking and I had the lifetime powertrain warranty on it and no the leaking gasket wasn't covered so I had the trans flushed which included a new pan gasket as part of the flush job.
