Angry vibration issues

i get a crazy vibration from 65 to 80 mph. i can see my passenger seat shake like crazy. Had the tires rebalanced and rotated and a alignment done still just as bad.. I heard that the rear stock shocks go bad very quickly and could cause vibration issues. dealership claims its normal. (dealerships suck) does anybody else have similar issues or even a solution to fix my problem.

I'm going to a service center tomorrow to get a Road Force Balance. Its suppose to be a lot better then a regular balancing. Let me know what the dealership says about your problem and i'll let you know if this road force balance works.

You can do whatever you like but years ago I used to use a bubble balancer on tires at the service station and if I did it right I never had complaints. Now we spin balance with computer measurements, put some weights on the inside and some on the outside, check it after putting the weights on to make sure it is zeroed out so I can not imagine getting vibrations from properly spin balanced wheels/tires. Unless there is something wrong with the tires that acts up when the weight of the vehicle is on it, I would look at the suspension or hubs/bearings. JMO

Who told you that the rear shocks go bad quickly? 96K on my originals and they are still fine. I'd be looking at the tierod ends and unit bearings.

not enough info with the question so I looked you up. I think you will find that some folks get vibrations with the front lift.

qcon24 2 inch Ready lift in front- 1.5 inch Ready lift in rear. Volant cold air intake. Cooper Zeon LTZ tires.

Ah - yup, that'll do it. The "leveling kit" CV vibration, only about 100 threads on that here.

I have an 09 4x4, it vibrated since new anywhere between 60-80, have 4" inch lift and still have the same as stock, old GYrs gone, new michelins, same issue, if im cruising constant speed over highway the truck will go in out of oscillations you can feel in seat and see in shaking passenger seat on turns sometimes get a steering wheel shake, all seems to come and go under differing road conditions at same speed so it cant be a balance, bearing, rotors/brakes just replaced, drive shaft wouldnt make since its constannt rpm, only thing i can see would be the shocks/struts, while these oscilations are coming and going you can detect the imperfections in the road and as they increase it seems the oscilations do as well, and again at cruise setting this will happen if at 65/70/75 etc, i can change lanes and this abs well can start or decrease it, leads me to believe the suspension/shocks are the culprit. looking for full bilsteins replacement soon.

just a quick update on my vibration issue i was having. Found out the lift kit was not the problem since Ram put a different suspension in the 2012 and up ram 1500's thats similar to the 2500. (no cv vibrations) The problem was the balance of the tires. I had a tire shop check the balance and it was 100 percent perfect. (i watched him do it. It was zeroed out perfectly) A road force balance found that my rear tires were 3 ounces off. My truck feels 85 percent better at highway speeds. Replaced the shocks and struts and that was the last of my vibration issues. I hope this helps anybody else who has similar issues. TRUCK ON MOTHERTRUCKERS
