vibration issues

just a quick update on my vibration issue i was having. Found out the lift kit was not the problem since Ram put a different suspension in the 2012 and up ram 1500's thats similar to the 2500. (no cv vibrations) The problem was the balance of the tires. I had a tire shop check the balance and it was 100 percent perfect. (i watched him do it. It was zeroed out perfectly) A road force balance found that my rear tires were 3 ounces off. My truck feels 85 percent better at highway speeds. Replaced the shocks and struts and that was the last of my vibration issues. I hope this helps anybody else who has similar issues. TRUCK ON MOTHERTRUCKERS

Couple of things to mention.
Inside sticky weights will almost always cause some type of vibration. I refuse to have outside wheel weights pounded on my nice clean wheels, so I will deal with downside to the stickies.
Another issue...These are VERY WIDE rims with lower profile tires. The rims bend very easily due to the large offset. A simple pothole can bend a wheel.
One of my wheels has a small dip to it which tire guy noticed. Truck rides fairly smooth but has a very very slight pulse either because of the slight bend and/or sticky combo.
Inside sticky weights will almost always cause some type of vibration. I refuse to have outside wheel weights pounded on my nice clean wheels, so I will deal with downside to the stickies.
Another issue...These are VERY WIDE rims with lower profile tires. The rims bend very easily due to the large offset. A simple pothole can bend a wheel.

glad you were able to work through it! My 2013 is still having issues after 2 visits to Dodge where the "rotated and balanced" the tires. I am having a hard time thinking I need to buy new anything for a truck that has less than 10k miles on it!

Toss four ounces of balancing beads in each tire and drive on.
