Default Aftermarket sites exludes Dodge Rams

I have been looking for after market parts for my 2014 Ram 1500 and I have noticed that several of the sites have no options to select Ram trucks. They will have every other Dodge vehicle but no Rams, what gives?

I was looking for nerf bars and wheels.

Fiat/Chrysler made Ram a standalone division outside of Dodge. For the earlier years, the trucks are under the Dodge menu. The newer trucks have their own Ram menu. Just keep scrolling down to the Rs

Some sites that I visit don't have Ram listed but if you select Dodge more than likely you will find the Rams included in that list.

As noted, there is no consistency. Some sites you will find under Ram and some under Dodge. And, some sites don't carry Chrysler products at all.

For wheels you are better off searching by bolt pattern, not the vehicle. Also a lot of wheel sites list bolt patterns for these trucks differently...some actually list as 5x5.5, while some go with 5x139.7.

In addition to bolt pattern you also need to know hub diameter and back spacing.

Heck, today I found out that even the Dodge web site didn't have an option for Ram P/Us.

Because Dodge does not sell Rams. Ram does.
