So I have Netscape 7.2 at home, and I noticed that starting either yesterday or today, I can no longer type in the text boxes when submitting new posts. They are just greyed out. It is unique to this site too. I did this post using IE. Something change? I know I need to upgrade my browser at home, but I work with computers all day, and hate having to come home and spend time upgrading my computer. I also hate using IE.

 

can you get me a screen shot of what you mean? are you talking about the quick reply box?

 

Pretty much any field that I would free type text into, including the quick reply, the Subject field, the Message field, etc... Here's what the quick reply area looks like, and the subject/message field when trying to do a reply to message.

Sorry, my mistake. On the second picture I just attached, you can see that ICANtype in the Subject field, but not in the message text box. You can see a differnece in how they look. As for the quick reply, you can see that there isn't even a text box there at all.

 

FYI, at work i'm using Netscape 8.1.3, and not having any problems. Any idea what might be the issue? I'm not thinking it is a problem with my broweser setting because Dodge Forum is the only place i'm seeing any issue. Thanks.

 

Not sure what has changed again, but tonight (right now as a matter of fact), i'm back to normal. I can type in the text boxes and have a tect box to type in under fast reply.

 

I reported this a while ago as well. With Firefox.

 

the only thing that they have been changing is the ad stuff, hoping to get the forum moving faster...

 

Do you have any addons for your browser? (Netscape still exists? I thought Firefox pretty much killed it)

 

Nope none. The issue just started, snd then went away without my doing anything.
