Hey DF Internet Savvy members...


I was just posting in the 2nd gen forums and when I clicked OK to execute a post, I got a long error page and was logged off and my cookie login was erased. What just happened there? I thought I got banned for a second.

Some gungho Moderator having fun with the banhammer out there?

Rarely does my account get signed off and I'm on my iPhone and CPU all the time.

I'm not sure what happened either, but my work PC crashed and burned as soon as I tried logging into the site yesterday. They are still working on it today. Needless to say, I no longer can afford the risk of posting on this site during work hours.

 

there needs to be some serious work done on this site. i don't know what forums software they're using but it's awful. extremly slow load times, issues with cookies all the time, crashing......i love this board but come on get some real software in here. vbulletin or php are much more stable and have much faster load times. this is the only board i come to where it takes almost 30 seconds for the pages to load when i first log on.

Yeah, my orginal post had nothing to do with what happened yesterday. I had a small isolated problem, the forum was absolutely nuked yesterday. I'd blame Bin Laden, Iran, or North Korea.
