Just don't think it's right for a mod to call the membership stupid. I don't care. My last words on it.

Amanda, you're doing a great job as always. Never said or implied otherwise, doubt I ever will. I just like to TRY to help out by throwing ideas out. Hope my contributor tag shows up sometime.

I noticed that! I was excited and still am about it!

 

i dont think a membership is stupid...i think building a special section, with sexual content, so all of the hairy-palmed members can get their rocks off, is Stupid. THAT was what the original calls for the "special sections" were requesting...

a short time later, someone asked about how some other forums have special sections for members who reach certain post counts. i simply mentioned how 2gstratus had a porno section, and several members here jumped down my throat..i wasnt suggesting that we shoudl have that here, just adding what i knew of a different site...but oddly, nothing is said now...

so now that i am a mod, i cant convey my opinion? interesting...i think that some people hope that once they are paying members, they will be above the oh-so-evil moderator....

 

But all should remember... NO ONE is EVER above the Admin.... Muhahaha!!! [sm=admin.gif]

Seriously... all opinions are noted... all views are understood... can't we all play nice? This so called membership situation isn't even an option thus far... so... please... everyone... have a coke and a smile... and relax...

Patrick, get the hell over yourself. You're the only one that's preoccupied with the sex thing, you keep bringing it up, you won't get over it, and I think you're completely wrong. Nobody said that you couldn't have an opinion, you just have to think about how you convey it because you have RESPONSIBILITIES now as a mod.

I'm just carifying my point. Believe me, this is MUCH nicer than what I want to post, I'm trying to play nice. I will NOT post on this topic again no matter how assinine a reply to this is. I'll just PM any suggestions from now on.

how about i then can be a "membership moderator"? equipped with the ability to abuse my moderator privileges, in retaliation of the abuse that i will face from members who have basically paid to do so...

but seriously...i will convey my opinion, within the regulations, just like i did before i was a mod...the selective memory displayed by some members pertaining to certain past conversations only makes them sound more ignorant....so keep it up, and ill just sit here and laugh....

but i am done...someone once told me, 'Patrick, when you argue with a moron, people looking on often cannot tell who the moron really is...'

i know, that quote isn't verbatim..but i cleaned up the language...

oh, and verbatim is latin...look it up.

and believe me....i am also biting my tongue because bickering with certain people only creates more work for Amanda, and every minute she isnt here babysitting, we can enjoy ourselves...
