well my computer got that worm sat. that has been on the news.over 9 million infected. had to take it down to the computer guy in town and he got it all fixed and running good again.100 bucks with new norton installed.

my problem is this, i have no google now. how do i go about getting it back on my computer? i use it all the time and it helps me find everything.

please help me out cause i am not computer savy. at all.... thanks in advance.

 

i can type in the web address and it comes right up. but it used to be right on the top at all times.

 

Did google use to be your homepage? Or were you typing in the top right hand box in Internet Explorer?

 

google was not my homepage.i had like 2 headings(thats what i am calling it,probably not right) at the top.and the other heading was always google.hope this makes since to ya.

i am really sorry,i am computer stupid.i need to go take some classes.

 

So when you opened your web browser you used to get tabs up that opens google?
if so then go to www.google.com and go to internet options and change it to your homepage.

 

probably had the google toolbar installed...

altair...i had like the first pic you have on the top.except it said live search,not google. and then just below it, i had the one similiar in your second pic. and they were both on there at all times.

i just hate the way live search works compared to google.

 

download google toolbar.

then make google the default search engine:
http://www.google.com/options/defaults.html

Then fix my truck!
